   i'm a little disappointed that i wasn't able to get in a good practice today. the park was way to crowded. even my back up spot wasn't devoid of any would be on lookers. so, i took my whip and headed back home. the heat from the sun burning my skin as i walked in un shaded 90 degrees weather. i was just beginning to perspire as i came upon the store on the way home. my pace quicken as i walked over to the store front, seeking a few moments refuge from the sun's unbearable heat.    once inside, i dug in my purse for any lose dollars floating around inside. i pulled out a wrinkle 5 dollar bill and sat it down on the counter. i ordered a mixed slushy and some wraps because i didn't want to go back out in the heat just incase i didn't have any at the house. then i power walked home. i sighed with a breath of relief as the cool air from the air conditioning kissed my hot skin. i took a large sip of my slushy and headed towards the kitchen. i still had whip practice to do but i need to cool down and relax first. i sat my bullwhip down on the ottoman as i past it. i pull my wrap out of pocket as ready to roll but i saw that my past self had already prepared one for me after i had finished my practice. well, i guess i won't be mad at myself if i sneak a few puff in before hand. besides the park was full and just the walk to and from was punishment enough. i think i earn this.
