I have owned an old vw polo for several years. the car is generally always difficult to start, even when it is not cold. tonight it's cold, i want to take the car for a drive and i still hope it will start easily. but the car is difficult to start, it takes me several tries to be able to start it and start driving. i drive for several minutes before stopping to go out for a walk. when i get back to the car, my feet are hot in my boots so i decide to take them off and drive barefoot. unfortunately for me, the car is even harder to start than before. i pump the pedal barefoot and after several tries the car finally starts and i can continue on my way.
