Due to the nature of her work, elizabeth has to stand in high heels most of the time. her legs gradually get tired and begin to hurt. but she doesn't have the opportunity to sit down. only sometimes can she lean against the wall, giving her feet a little relief, and several times she managed to kick off her shoes and stand barefoot for a short time on the cool tiles while no one was looking. and the rest of the time she stands shifting from foot to foot, rubbing her feet, pulling them out of her shoes, stretching her feet and wiggling her toes, and dipping her feet into her shoes again.
