Today is very cold, and i want to go out with the car, but i need to warm up the engine before leaving. i'm wearing flip-flops and have pink toenails. so when i get in the car and try to start it, i already expected it not to start. i keep trying, and after a few minutes, still no sign of life... but i don't give up. eventually, the car starts coughing and sputtering, teasing me... it starts a few times and then shuts off, with a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust. when i finally get it running, i decide to take off my flip-flops to feel the pedals better and give the engine some good revs to warm it up. it still stalls a few more times, but after a while, the engine warms up and starts running smoothly.
