I tried so hard to stay polite and composed on our first date… but after eating that much, my poor belly had no chance. it just wouldn’t stop swelling. i was so uncomfortably full, i had to unbutton my skirt! there was no way it could stay closed with my belly ballooning like that. and my sandals? my feet were so swollen they barely fit anymore… the straps looked like they were hanging on for dear life. i kept trying to act normal, covering my mouth sweetly, hoping i could hold it in… but the pressure was unreal. and then it happened: massive, horrifying burps burst out of me, loud and completely uncontrollable. i was mortified. you can see the moment it escapes, the shock on my face, the awkward giggle after. between the belly growing, the tight clothes, the swollen feet and those monstrous burps… i was a total mess… what a catch hugh?
