Zombies, run! has been one of my favorite pieces of media and stories in nearly a decade, and i've been thinking about this story for pretty much that entire time. early in season 1, you (zr is a pov horror/scifi audio story where you are the main character) are lost outside of the gates after dark with no way to communicate with your base, no hope of rescue, and nothing to lead you back home but the voice of your comms specialist in your headset. this episode in particular is powerfully emotional and i thought it could really feed into hot, passionate sex. so i added that. the story: after a thrilling run from zombies in the woods, you've come home and ignored protocol to come straight to my comms shack. maybe what i said into your radio headset made you realize how much you felt for me, and you can only think of one way to show me. content warning: strong emotions; discussions of grief, loss, and the end of the world; tension, fear, monster noises, jump scares, sniffling other tags: friends to lovers, dystopian, atmospheric, cinematic, music, sfx
