Your Armless Photographer
When i walk into the room, the rhythmic click of my high heels fills the air. my new roommate can’t take his eyes off me. both of my sleeves hang empty at my sides. i lost my arms in a terrible accident, but that hasn’t stopped me from living or from being strong, graceful, and fascinating. a camera hangs around my neck, as i’ve just returned from a photography class for people without arms. i sit down across from him and slowly cross my long, toned legs. ever since i lost my arms, my legs have become my everything: powerful, skilled, and surprisingly precise. i slip off my heels and pick up the camera with my bare feet, showing how i’ve learned to do everything with them.
