I’m trying to have a serious conversation on the phone with a colleague about the paper we’re working on, we’re mid discussion, and i’m doing my best to stay focused and professional… but suddenly, i feel that familiar tickle in my nose. i try to ignore it at first, keep talking, but it builds so fast i can’t hold it back. i let out a huge sneeze and then another… and another. i keep trying to apologise, sniffling between sneezes, struggling to stay composed, but it’s no use. the sneezes just keep coming, over and over, totally taking over my body so i have to blow my nose and honk loudly. i’m breathless, flustered, trying to stay polite while completely overwhelmed by this full on sneeze attack. my nose won’t stop twitching, i can barely get through a sentence, and i’m so embarrassed but i cant stop. it’s constant, messy, and completely out of my control.
