(english) katie's dramatic resus scene continues in this video, after she suffered a sudden ca during as exam. the parameds already arrived after katie's professor's original actions assist her. the patient's pulse has returned to sinus rhythm. an o2 mask is on and now the paramed prep for a 12 lead ecg exam on the floor. they remove the aed pads from her chest and place the ecg electrodes, and clamp electrodes onto her limbs. the lead paramed steths her heart and soon the patient's heart flatlines again. they continue cpr with strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. the manual defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the first round. after a few cycles they intubate the patient and affix an et tube with tape. the resus continues and following a few more cycles the patient's pulse returns to normal rhythm.
